Frank Zappa on Freedom of Speech (Video)

During the 1980s, Frank Zappa was the leading spokesman for the first amendment during a time the religious right was focusing on censoring the “devil music” known as rock and roll. Zappa appeared on Crossfire in 1986, arguing with John Lofton of the Washington Times.

It’s a must watch.

(In case you are wondering, the song repeatedly referenced but not named is Sister from Prince‘s 1980 album Dirty Minds.)
