Pop duo Wham! were center stage of the‘80s music scene, dropping hit after hit that made people want to dance and have fun. Their debut album Fantastic(1983) was no exception, paving the way for the group’s later success. Using their music to address the UK’s unemployment problem, as well as teenage angst, many hits emerged from the album, like the globally loved“Club Tropicana.”
The album art featured George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in leather, which drew in fans. This album featured a fun, hidden track at the end of“Young Guns(Go For It),” and several songs charted. Fantastic was the beginning of a musical legacy that is still beloved today.
