Ice Choir WHITE CHRISTMAS CD

Limited vinyl LP-only release including digital download. Ice Choir is the project of NYC based artist Kurt Feldman. Feldman's experience as a musician boasts both depth and breadth (a commercial sound designer and composer by trade, it informed many of the decisions made on "Designs In Rhythm"). The album's 10 tracks are shimmering, infectious, maximalist pop gems. More than that, however, each song acts as a reflection on what it's like to think and create in 2016. This album is one that asks you to unravel, absorb, and sit with it - all things that Feldman makes easy for us, thanks to the lush production and irresistible melodies.

Ice Choir DESIGNS IN RHYTHM Vinyl Record

Seven inch vinyl pressing of this 2011 debut release from Brooklyn's Ice Choir. Written and produced by Kurt Feldman (The Depreciation Guild) and mixed by Jorge Elbrecht, this is the first single from their as-yet-untitled debut album, due in 2012. Over five years and two acclaimed albums (2007's "In Her Gentle Jaws" & 2010's "Spirit Youth"), The Depreciation Guild demonstrated the rich possibilities of incorporating chiptune elements into classic shoegaze. Now Ice Choir mines similarly incongruous sources: marrying 80's synth pop to Romanticist lyrical influences without compromising Feldman's commitment to intelligent and compelling pop music.
