The Center for Amazon Community Ecology (CACE) works with hundreds of native and campesino artisans from the Peruvian Amazon to produce and sell innovative fair trade handicrafts, helping to create sustainable income for artisan families, promote forest conservation, and supports local development in their communities.
This selection is part of the Bach Project’s partnership with Nest, a non-profit working to increase global workforce inclusivity, improve women’s wellbeing beyond factories, and preserve cultural traditions around the world. The partnership celebrates a fundamental cultural practice — handcraft — by surfacing and sharing handmade objects from Bach Project locations on six continents with you.
