“The Pride of Elvis Presley Airways” is how Elvis often referred to the pair of jets that he purchased in 1975: The Lisa Marie and The Hound Dog II. The Lisa Marie, named for his daughter, was the plane that Elvis most often flew and was a retrofitted Delta Airlines commercial airliner. The Hound Dog II was a smaller Lockheed Jetstar and was most often used by Elvis’ manager, Col. Parker, to fly ahead of Elvis to the next city whenever Elvis was on tour. Both jets have Elvis’ trademark “TCB” logo on the tails.
Inspired by Elvis’ pride for his “Flying Graceland” and his iconic style, we have created a series of gifts to inspire you to “Fly Like the King.”
