Black Pearl Jam Shirt
While some musicians take the long road to success, Pearl Jam experienced whiplash. Formed in Seattle in 1990, the band’s classic lineup consisted of Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard, and Matt Cameron. When Ten debuted in August 1991, it was a slow burn in the beginning but by the second half of 1992, the album exploded garnering a gold certification by RIAA. As of 2013, Ten had sold 13 million copies in the U.S. and became a certified 13x platinum. The album spawned three hit singles,“Alive”“Even Flow” and“Jeremy”.
Pearl Jam set out on its first-ever European tour in 1992. Midway through a show in Munich Germany, the band decided to play Ten in its entirety. On its second go-around, dubbed the European Summer Tour 1992, Pearl Jam played in cities and festivals around the continent. This shirt is a throwback to that tour, the energy, the excitement—and the daredevil dives Vedder would attempt off the stage and into the crowd.
