As tiny as a minute, tucked beneath your blanket warm, As perfect as an angel, in faith and face and form... SO LITTLE, SO LOVELY, SO LOVED an original lullaby Copyright 2006 Joan Scrivani (music/lyrics) After a stint in the music business, Joan spent many years as a successful childrenswear designer, where she took great delight in creating products that brought joy to little ones. Her love for babies is apparent in the heartfelt lyrics and inspired melodies of her lullabies. A published poet and writer, Joan is a two-time winner of the prestigious Phi Theta Kappa International Award for Musical Excellence. The first win was for 'A Mother's Masterpiece' a song inspired by the AIDS Quilt Project; the second 'They Call It Family', poignantly reflects the value of family in every day life. In addition to songwriting, Joan is a freelance writer and a devoted mother and grandmother, who tends her garden, enjoys artistic pursuits, and participates in altruistic endeavors, in particular, volunteer work with abused and neglected children. Heidi Lee (vocalist) is a former beauty pageant winner, who has performed at the United Nations, Trump Plaza and The World Yacht Club, as well as other top venues in the NY Metropolitan Area. A co-owner of Rapture Musical Entertainment, Heidi's tone and vocal range have been likened to Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland and Jane Olivor. In addition to her show business commitments, Heidi finds time to assist children's charities, and was recognized by the International and National charters of the Toys For Tots Foundation. This talented vocalist with a devoted fan base, however, considers motherhood her first career, and her greatest achievement, her two beautiful children, Austin and Marissa. Doug Scrivani (arranger/producer) has been performing and recording since his teens. He met with early success sharing the stage with such rock & roll royalty as The Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker, The Byrds, Paul Anka and many more. His guitar styling has been likened to both Eric Clapton and George Benson. Doug's guitar, keyboards and vocal excellence have taken him from the resorts of Atlantic City to New York City's premiere venues such as Tavern On The Green, The Waldorf Astoria and The Hotel Pennsylvania. Doug's productions have included several film soundtracks, the most recent starring pop icon, Zacherley and Debbie Rochon. But until the moon wanes pale against the permeating blue And sleeping bees awaken to the day, And unfurled morning glories prove their finery anew, You, my angel baby, sleep away...
