American songwriter and blues revivalist Stevie Ray Vaughan is better referred to as one of the greatest guitar players of all time. Although he met an untimely death at age 35, he made plenty of waves in the music industry during his career. One of those waves was his debut album, Texas Flood(1983).
He was a member of Double Trouble, a blues band that toured during the 80s. They toured extensively after their debut album reached such success, selling over half a million copies. After Vaughan’s death, the band lived on with tributes and recordings. The band as a whole has received 4 Grammys and sold over 11.5 million records.
