American songwriter and blues revivalist Stevie Ray Vaughan is better referred to as one of the greatest guitar players of all time. Although he met an untimely death at age 35, he made plenty of waves in the music industry during his career. One of those waves was his debut album, Texas Flood(1983).
The record sold over half a million copies and was recorded in just 3 days. The deep blues sound was different than the mainstream rock of the time, which was a critique of the time but makes it so unique for today. The low-budget recording led to raw and talented tunes. Now a double platinum-record in the music history books, his talent lives on through his music.
