Hendrick Motorsports driver Jimmie Johnson and Ally Financial will honor American service members when the No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro hits the track in the Coca-Cola 600.
The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series™ champion will pilot a special matte olive green scheme in the Memorial Day weekend event at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The design features rivets and the stencil-styled markings of traditional military vehicles, complete with the race’s date emblazoned on each side.
Now the official die-cast of Johnson’s No. 48 Ally Patriotic Chevrolet Camaro is available for order from Lionel Racing. Each 1:24-scale car is being offered in two trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and also a fully die-cast ELITE version that features an opening hood and trunk. A 1:64-scale model in standard paint is also on offer.
