Limited clear vinyl LP pressing with download card. 2011 release, the third album from the Michigan Folk semester. The album was born out of a period of personal tumult. These songs are a battle cry for that time. After touring the world several times over, living life as a working musician, undergoing an intense period of self-criticism, Bathgate took four years to complete Salt Year, reemerging on the other side with a more realized version of his country-tinged gothic Folk. It's that struggle that makes this album such a triumph.
Each record is protected within its record sleeve by a white vellum anti-dust sleeve.
