Culture Abuse is a five piece band from Santa Rosa, CA who formed in 2013. Culture Abuse features members of All Teeth, Strike to Survive, and Dead to Me. Culture Abuse plays a blown out, off kilter, and weird style of hardcore/punk that's difficult to describe. I almost want to label these dudes as falling into the "mysterious guy" camp of hardcore/punk, but I think that'd be doing Culture Abuse a disservice. Musically, the vocals are snotty and spastic, while the music has an unsettling and dirty vibe. Possible comparisons can be made to bands such as old Condominium, Brain Handle, old Slices, and possibly early Cult Ritual. The Day Dreams of Nothing is the band's debut six song EP.
Each record is protected within its record sleeve by a white vellum anti-dust sleeve.
