George's 2nd album. A mix of hopeful life stories, a wedding song and a strong Christian set. Brian Kerr's setting for Psalm 90 is outstanding! SONG STORIES SARAH'S DREAM - Written for the American Diabetes Association and inspired by several meetings held at Camp Glyndon in Maryland. Most of the song was written on a drive home from an ADA strategic planning meeting. This song is currently being distributed in Wizdom Kits sent by the ADA to newly diagnosed people with Type 1 diabetes. WORLD PLEDGE - No real story for this one, but it has been used in a Baltimore City School program and some ADA Walks with kids singing along. I just thought the concept was better. LOOK TO TOMORROW - Written as a graduation song for a very talented girl in the St. Margaret's Episcopal Church youth group which I was leading. Performed in church at a graduation celebration. WITH THESE RINGS - Written for a cousin's wedding and used many times since. They rarely saw each other until the wedding. A PART OF ME STILL CRIES - This is about the death of my father. Writing about it helps. I'M SO GLAD - A love song for Judy. PLANE TO BUDAPEST - This song was actually written on a plane to Budapest. It was about my fourth trip and I was tired of going over there without a real plan. I think it shows... LORD GUIDE OUR WAY - This was written and performed for a going away service for a pastor who was leaving St. Margaret's. It's a prayer that resonates on many levels. IN YOUR LIGHT - Written driving home from a party at my Aunt's house. It was fun to play with the harmonies in the studio. PSALM 90 - This was written by my good friend Brian Kerr. I really love this song and was really glad to get to record it. It's a great prayerful closing to the album.
