Filthy City, the debut album from NYC's Gut Nose, encapsulates his deep knowledge of Golden Era, East Coast hip hop and the raw, rough textures of early Chicago house and Detroit Techno. The release comprises a seventeen minute beats tape on the A side, created live, as well as an almost-twenty minute DJ mix of original material on the B side. Andrew Vagabundo first released under the Gut Nose moniker in January 2013 with 'The Eat Biskit' tape, a self-produced and packaged cassette of noise, techno and Hip-Hop that was met with praise from The Quietus and Electronic Beats. His debut three-tracker 12" was released earlier in 2014 by Styles Upon Styles, the Sound Signature-recalling thump of SUS005 Vicetopia.
