Recorded at Smegmatone Studio in Portland Oregon between the years of 2006 and 2010. Originally intended to be a double A sided single (Foolery, Tom b/w Shitfaced Reynolds), the project grew with frequent returns to Smegmatone. Recorded by Mike Lastra and Mark Ellsworth using 1' tape, 2' tape and also digital mediums. Mastered at Aardvark Record Masters in Denver and pressed at United Record Pressing in Nashville. Available on a limited edition 180gram vinyl record with only 200 copies pressed. Download cards are conveniently inserted for your non-phonographic purposes. Also available as a download in the iTunes store, cdbaby.com, or wherever you find your digital music. 'This album almost wasn't released. It literally sat in a box for 6+months before the wheels began to turn towards letting everyone hear what we accomplished in north Portland at Smegma. Some of the tracks were actually 'lost' in the ever expanding archive of music that Smegma has become. Somehow, over the span of 4+ years, we ended up recording 8 songs with full overdubs, two 15 minute improv sessions that have yet to be released, and a video spot on the infamous 'Sardonicus' series featuring a couple of our live jams. The idea to release the 8 songs had always been a thought but didn't materialize until late 2011. The opportunity presented itself at the right time and we dusted off our final mixes that had sat idle for several months. We now offer to you our latest collection of songs as an album titled, 'Delaying the Inevitable'.'
