2006 twelve inch vinyl single from this Japanese Electronica outfit. Kai hails from Japan. Particle crosses the bridge between house and techno with finesse and ease, following in the lineage of minimalists such as Dan Bell, Steve Bug, with even more funk. The opening track, with it's speaker destroying bass, has a slowed-up house tempo and retro-sounding bassline with a heavy nod to the Chicago house sound of yesteryear combined with modern production values. "One Day" with it's off-kilter feel, random bleeps, acidic bassline and massive swing is a surefire dancefloor hitter. "Switch" has ultra minimal percussion that is literally swamped by the insistent bassline. On "Metro," the groove goes on and on. This is futuristic house music at it's best. Sud Electronic.
