Le Groove de Prune achieved airplay from Kev Beadle, Craig Charles and Soft Rocks. Jobu is a journey into jazz funk and disco and Le Groove de Prune a modern afrobeat groover. They feature the Manu Dibango rhythm section plus members of the Quantic Soul Orchestra and Reel People. And were recorded between the Faze Action studio in London and Studio Patagoni in Paris. in terms of sounds thinks Masters at Work meets ESG meets Innerzone Orchestra. The synths in Jobu were certainly inspired by Carl Craig!
