POP ETC, fronted by Christopher Chu, is a trio formed in Berkeley, California in 2006. 2nd Full length album from NYC-based POP ETC (formerly the Morning Benders) The current lineup consists of singer Christopher Chu, his younger brother and guitarist Jonathan Chu, and drummer Julian Harmon. After releasing their debut album in 2008 under the name of The Morning Benders, they were signed to a popular UKm label Rough Trade. They went on to make their worldwide debut with their sophomore album Big Echo in 2010 and quickly attracted international attention. In March 2012, they changed their name to POP ETC and released a self-titled album in June the same year. Today their songs have been used in commercials home and abroad, popular American TV series, and worldly supported movies, all of which enjoying attention from respective fields.
