Seth Troxler, primarily recognized for his bond with Detroit and it's varying strands of house and techno, founded his Soft Touch imprint in 2014 to seek out left-of-center cuts touching on interstellar guitar, calypso disco and seductive techno tracks. The label's second release comes from the trio Rework (Visionquest, Playhouse). Girl or a Boy kicks things off with a dense wall of ducking pads before Sascha Hedgehog's vocals prowl over moody chord shifts. The title-track emits a Miami-tinged glow atop a walking bass pattern and a melancholic synth refrain before Moon sets hazy guitar licks rotating inside an aquatic casing.
Each record is protected within its record sleeve by a white vellum anti-dust sleeve.
