Hailing from Newcastle (home of the Brown) DJ, producer and film-maker Tombee often describes his sound as Folk-Hop. The definition of Folk music, if you look it up, is music handed down from generation to generation, which mixed with Tombee's cut and paste ethics as well as his deft turntable trickery, makes perfect sense. Bleeps, Beats and Breaks are the order of the day and complete a Jack to Phono series of three 7 inch releases for the first part of 2008.
