Montreal's Yellow Bird Project is a charitable organization that recruits musicians to design T-shirts for good causes. Now, YBP is taking it's relationship with the musical community one step further by releasing an album that is loaded with notable contributors. Good People Rock will be released on April 14 through Madic Records, the Arts & Crafts imprint operated by Dan Mangan. The album consists entirely of cover tunes. Across the 11-song tracklist, Andrew Bird covers the New Pornographers, Hayden takes on TV on the Radio, Alec Ounsworth (of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah) and Elvis Perkins each cover one another, and Astrals Swans reinterprets Wolf Parade (with a guest appearance from Mangan). There's also a bonus track from the Tallest Man on Earth.
