The album titled Shovels & Rope was originally released in 2008 as a collaboration by two then-solo artists, Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent. After a few years of touring together as “Cary Ann Hearst & Michael Trent,” the two decided to adopt the name of their album Shovels & Rope as the official band name.
Offered on vinyl for the first time, this release is being put out on 180 gram premium vinyl and includes a copy of the album on CD inside! Features live staples (and fan favorites) “Boxcar,” “Gasoline” and “Hollowpoint Blues” plus a brand new exclusive recording of "Mother's Scorn"
