In the early part of the 70's I moved to the Mendocino coast in northern California. At that time there were so many great musicians and writers that I had the pleasure of playing with. I started playing the local bars and having a good time. I would play my original songs along with whatever covers I could came up with. A short time later Jimmy Hodder of Steely Dan fame moved to the coast. He started doing some gigs with us, and his drums really brought my songs to life. In 78 we barrowed an 8 track tape deck, scrounged together all the equipment we could and did a recording in a makeshift studio in someone's house. All songs recorded live in one take, with minimum overdubbing. These songs all have a story, give it a listen.
