Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1973, the original lineup features guitarist Randy Rhoads, bassist Kelly Garni, lead vocalist Kevin DuBrow and drummer Drew Forsyth. The band saw a lot of turmoil and infighting, which led to Garni eventually being fired for threatening to kill DuBrow.

Their third studio album, Metal Health was released on March 11, 1893. It has the distinction of being the only heavy metal album to reach number one on the Billboard charts, thanks to the hit song "Cum On Feel the Noize". Quiet Riot went through multiple lineup changes and breakups but continued to tour until DuBrow's death from a cocaine overdose in 2007.
