2011 collection from the Pop vocalist. A truly international star, Connie was hugely popular throughout Europe, particularly in Britain (in 1958 she had no less than seven hit records in the UK, spending twelve weeks at #1). She recorded in 13 different languages during her career and enjoyed success in a wide variety of musical styles and genres. However, although it includes a dozen of her most memorable hits, this compilation concentrates on Connie's early, Rock 'n' Roll-styled recordings, and thus deliberately omits a number of her equally-celebrated 'weepy' hit ballads from the same period. Of particular note are seven memorable cover versions drawn from her highly-regarded 1959 LP, Rock 'n' Roll Million Sellers. Complete.
