American crime drama, Scarface (1983) is a movie loved by many for its action, romance, and plot. It’s safe to say the film is a cult classic. With star Al Pacino playing the lead (he was celebrated for this role), the movie follows a Cuban refugee that becomes a powerful drug lord in Miami. Praised by many and referenced across pop culture, in hip hop music, tv shows, and comics, the Scarface legacy is the first of many drug lord themed crime dramas.
