AC/DC's Highway to Hell was their sixth studio album, released in 1979, and marked another chart-topping success for the band. All three singles from the album, "Highway to Hell," "Girl's Got Rhythm," and "Touch Too Much" remain in rock and roll radio rotation to this day.
The Highway to Hell Tour opened two days after the album's release in Blizen, Belgium on July 29, 1979 and saw the band travel through Europe and North America for over six months, wrapping up at the Gaumont Theater in Southhampton, England. Sadly, the show marked the final tour for lead singer Bon Scott, who passed four weeks after the end of the tour.
