This is the cut that opens fire on the seventh album by La Bien Querida, a work with which she debuts on the Sonido Muchacho record label. The theme is, in itself, a declaration of intent. It sets the tone of the album while putting land in the middle with respect to his latest deliveries. This part-time brand of the house is nourished by extremes in a text that, in the words of Ana Fernández herself, speaks “of all the women who live in it”. Victim and executioner, good and bad, all or nothing: it depends on how you look at it and who is looking. Riding the roller coaster that is "Paprika", "La Perra del Hortelano" are those first moments uphill. By the time “Esto Que Tengo Contigo” starts, we are already in free fall, delivered to their bachatero rhythms and to the winds of José Chacón, the trumpeter we hear throughout the entire piece. He salsa on a record by La Bien Querida, of course he does. No one should be surprised at this point in his career, as we have seen the artist from Bilbao make genres as diverse as synth-pop, kraut, Spanish melodic songs or dub her own.
