Black Sublime Shirt
“I don’t practice Santeria, I ain’t got no crystal ball, if I had a million dollars” I’d spend it on this t-shirt. Sublime was an American ska punk band from Long Beach, California and was formed in 1988. The band released three studio albums, one live album, five compilation albums, three EPs, and one box set. Sublime, although their first two albums were successful, would not experience major commercial success until 1996 with their self-titled third album released two months after their lead vocalist and guitarist Bradley Nowell’s death.
The artwork of Sublime, which can be found everywhere, has all been approved by Nowell’s widow, Troy Holmes, and the band’s management, Dave Kaplan Management. The logo featured English lettering and sol regis. Wearing a Sublime logo now has little to do with the music or Long Beach itself, but it’s now part of the eternal ethos of Sublime, an eternal house party with an open-door policy. Holmes said“Second to the music, the art is the strongest message Sublime has to offer.[…] It doesn’t represent a single place or a point in time. It can be any beach or anywhere.”
Text: Stylized“Sublime” in English lettering and sol regis.
Black t-shirt featuring teal flowers and skeletons surrounding a bright bottle. The bottle includes the Sublime sun logo on the label and sits in the foreground of a red, orange, and yellow sunset.“Sublime” tops the image.
