Argonaut formed in Tacoma, WA and played their first show in 1999. They are a heavy rock band with a touch of punk and indy thrown in for good measure. They play loud. The band has seen a few line-ups. The current one is Matt Sader on bass and vocals, Dave Takata on guitars, Brandon Boote on drums and Chad Baker on guitars. The band released it's first LP "Shoot the Moon" in 2003. It was regarded as one of the top five releases of 2003 by Hotel Magazine (Toronto, CA) and received good reviews. Then they broke up. Drama, it happens. Fast forward to 2009. The band released a very small pressing of the EP they recorded years earlier. They called it "The Good Times and the Bad Times". The EP was passed around and eventually ended up in the hands of Seattle, WA radio station KEXP DJ Hannah Levin. Hannah liked it a lot. Hannah threw a big show for them. In October 2013, Argonaut is releasing their 3rd release since 2003 called What's Your Perfect Day?
