Handmade suede pouch cut from a bark tanned deerskin. Features a double leather drawstring with vintage trade beads. Hand stitched accents with JM initials on the bottom of the pouch. Over time the deerskin will soften and patina with use.
Bark tanning is the historical method of converting an animal hide to leather by soaking the skin in a "bark soup" for several months.
