Infamous boy band *NSYNC joined forces in 1995 in Orlando, Florida. Bandmates Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass launched their musical fame with 1997's self-titled'N Sync - an acronym of the last letter in each of their names: JustiN, ChriS, JoeY, JasoN, and JC.
*NSYNC’s second album, No Strings Attached, arrived in 2000 and included instant hits like“Bye Bye Bye,”"It's Gotta Be Me," and"This I Promise You" - showing the band’s range between poppy party bops and sensitive soulful tunes. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 and set a fifteen-year record for most copies sold at 2.4 million - which stayed the standard until Adele's 2015 smash 25.
