By 1989, Alice Cooper had already released ten studio albums and been through more ups and downs than the average rock star — not to mention one who regular toured with snakes. That year’s release, Trash, managed to reinvigorate Cooper and its success marked a new era for the “Godfather of Shock Rock.” The single, “Poison,” and its popular music video, was his first track to chart in Billboard’s Top 10 since 1977’s “You and Me.”

This t-shirt recreates the one worn by Alice Cooper on the cover of the Trash LP, and which was sold to fans on the band’s 1989 album tour. A studded leather jacket, and maybe some big metal hair, is the only thing needed to complete his exact look.
